almost perfect

My husband and i visited Signature's Restaurant for dinner one evening about a month ago....everything was great....the food was unbelievably delicious, we took our server's suggestion and tried the rack of lamb which was astounding....the martinis we ordered we awesome- creative, beautiful, big, and delish!....our server was right on target with our needs and provided us with the upmost service and respect and we had a wonderful time, until, the owner Marty decided to come over and introduce himself to us during our coffee and dessert course and "make himself at home" at our table- basically chewing off my husband's and mine ears off talking about how much he spent on re-doing the restaurant, and all the work he put into it, but failed to accknowledge our compliments toward the server and lovely bartender as well as the food....just sort of "cut me off" so to speak and continued on about himself....everything would have been just great if he hadnt come over and talked until the cows came home....if it wasnt for him, we might actually think about going back another time, maybe we could stop down on a night he's not there!......everything else was great though.....
